MARDI GRAS SUNDAY
MARDI GRAS (literally: "Fat Tuesday") is a time of joy and celebration prior to the austerity and sacrifice of Lent. In that spirit, on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday, we bring in our Jazz Combo for a rousing worship with Old Gospel Hymns and lively Jazz compositions.
And Following worship, we adjourn to our Fellowship room for a special luncheon featuring New Orleans' Jambalaya and a traditional "Kings Cake."
